Unfinished  - #JBUTop quality, American made, ready for finishing, Unlimited Bridge options - No bridge holes are drilled so you can use any bridge you'd like! Jazz Bass body in lightweight Alder. We don't use generic type guitar bodies, but have patterned ours after the Pre-CBS® '62 models that most people love. You just cannot beat the shape on these unfinished guitar bodies. These are all top quality, lightweight guitar bodies, sure to please a discriminating guitar builder or luthier.

Alder Wood Tone: Alder is the classic body wood, dating back to the late 1950's. Alder is found in more 3 single coil, double cut-away guitars than any other. It produces that signature warm and mellow vintage Strat tone. The sound is a thicker, midrange tone and it is very full in the low midrange but still produces enough upper midrange to be clear and articulate.
